To participate in non-sport activities students sign up when school starts and pay their $50.00 fee to the main office.  Activity sign-up is announced and students are asked to sign up on the activities board (just off the commons) and pay a $50.00 participation fee.  Some activities (*) are free to all students because of the service they provide to the school.

To participate in an athletic activity, all students are required to have a valid health physical, a parent permit form, and a fee payment on record with the Activities Director in the office.  Health physicals and parent permit forms are available in the Main Office at the Middle School.  (A physical is good for three (3) calendar years.)  If you have a student-entering grade 6, it would be wise to schedule a physical appointment for the summer after grade 6.  Your student would not need another sports physical until entering grade 10 or their sophomore year.  Parent permission forms need only be filled out once per year.  If your student participates in the fall, parent permits are not needed for the remainder of the school year.

All sports information can be found online at www.isd47.org and will also be available at the parent meeting on Wednesday, August 24th, and at open house August 31st.

Competitive schedules can be found at: www.centrallakesconference.org or link through the district website (www.isd47.org) -Activities and Athletics –CLC. NOTE: You may also pay fees online.

                PRESEASON (Fall Camp): On Monday, August 29th, volleyball players will meet in the      central gym, football in the west gym, girls’ tennis will meet in the commons, and boys/girls soccer will meet in the east gym. Girls swim and dive will meet at the High School Pool. (On August 25th Cross Country will meet in the commons for their first practice at 8:00 AM)

                 IN-SEASON: Official practice starts on Tuesday, September 6th, after school from 3:15-5:15 PM and will be held Monday through Friday.

**Parents**
Please plan to attend a parent/student meeting on Wednesday, August 24th at 5:30. We will meet in the Central Gym at the Middle School. At this time you can pay fees and turn in paperwork (parent permit form and current physical).  This also provides an opportunity for you to meet coaches, hear information and have an opportunity to ask questions.

How do I sign my kid up for an activity?

Students who are beginning a new activity need to have 2 forms on file in the SRR Middle School office BEFORE they can practice. Fee payments are due to the office by the first game or contest.

Each participant needs:

* MSHSL Eligibility/Parent Permission Form
*Current Physical Form

Both forms can be downloaded below.
