 Spring CLC Rules:

SOFTBALL / BASEBALL
1.  4 outfielders may be used
2.  Pitching distance / base distance will be determined by home team
3.  Stealing, wild pitch, passed ball: 
        7 BB: regular rules
        8 BB:  regular rules
          7 SB: no advancements to 2nd, 3rd, or home (rule adjustment per mutual agreement)
        8 SB:  regular rules
4.  Back to back games -75 minutes time limit / 5 innings / no inning starting after 60 minutes (ties okay)
5.  (5) run inning rule - finish play when 5th run scored.  All runs count while finishing the play when the 5th run scores.   
6.  Teams split by even ability – softball and baseball - both 7th and 8th grades.

With spring sports comes unpredictable weather.  If there is bad weather and sports are cancelled, the majority of athletes will be sent home.  If a game was scheduled in any sport, those athletes will be sent home.

If your child is riding home with someone else from an away game, coach will need to have a note with your name and phone number and the name and phone number of the person your child is riding with prior to your child being able to go with them.
